NOVI, Mich. - Emily Kolodin and Amalia Villarreal have been selected to participate in the U.S. Soccer U-16 Girls' National Team Virtual Meetings which are set to take place in April.
"We are happy to see Emily and Amalia earn this opportunity," said Dan Dalzochio, the club's Girls' Academy Director. "They have each put so much hard work on and off the field to reach this level."
Both players represent Michigan Jaguars FC Girls' Academy teams, competing in the Girls' Academy League. Both Kolodin and Villarreal earned call-ups to last year's U-14 GNT Mini-Camp in February 2020.
At the 2019 USYS National Championships, the girls helped guide the Novi 2006 Girls Green team to the National Championship game.
Villarreal won the Golden Ball at the U13 age group, awarded to the tournament's best player. She was also named to the Best XI team alongside Kolodin.
