By Michigan Jaguars FC, 03/09/21, 5:45PM EST

NOVI, Mich. – Michigan Jaguars FC has made changes to its Novi Technical Staff for the 2021/22 season. James Renton has been appointed as both the Novi branch Director of Coaching and the Novi Boys’ Director of Coaching, along with leading the Boys’ National League and Club vs Club programs. Firas Al-Samarraie has been named the Novi Girls’ Director of Coaching, and he will lead the Girls’ National League and Club vs. Club programs.

Renton joined the staff in 2016. He holds a USSF B License, a USYSA National Youth License, an NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma, a US Soccer Grass Roots Instructor License, and is an MSYSA Coach Instructor.

“I am grateful to have this opportunity,” Renton said. “Michigan Jaguars FC is a fantastic organization, and I am excited to build on the work that has been done before. We have wonderful families and staff, and I look forward to working with them to provide a positive soccer experience.”

“I am excited to take this new role,” Al-Samarraie said. “I look forward to working with the various teams and coaches as we strive towards continually improving the environment for our players and families.”
