By Michigan Jaguars FC, 02/15/21, 2:15PM EST

NOVI, Mich. - Three Michigan Jaguars FC Girls' Academy players earned recognition on Saturday for their standout play at the GA Winter Showcase in Round Rock, Texas. Amanda Feury, Mairin Wessner, and Amalia Villarreal were three of the players named to the Saturday Stars list on Top Drawer Soccer.

Amanda Feury (Jags '22, Uncommitted)

"Feury, on top of the goal and the assist, made some excellent passes in the game against NEFC. She has great vision and good skill. She was a standout for her side. Midfielder Payton Fitzpatrick did well protecting the attacking numbers with her positioning to cut out balls through the center." - Top Drawer Soccer

Mairin Wessner (Jags'22, Dayton Commit)

"There was impressive synergy between Wessner and Amanda Feury during the second half of the game against NEFC on Saturday. Wessner contributed the assist on Feury’s goal and then Feury returned the favor. Wessner, the winger, was a star in the game. Her long strides helped her get past defenders and created opportunities in the attacking third for her side." - Top Drawer Soccer

Amalia Villarreal (Jags '24, Uncommitted)

"Villarreal, one of the youngest players at the event, was a star on Saturday. She’s so dynamic and skillful - even while playing up two age groups that her talent is obvious. She was involved in a lot of the success for Jaguars on Saturday. She has a bright future in the club game - and probably at the international level for the 2006 age group." - Top Drawer Soccer
